*Gene "Doc" Metcalf was presented with a plaque commemorating his recent election to the Senior Softball-USA Hall of Fame at the 75s Tournament on January 28. Congratulations, Doc!

*TEAM ROSTER REVISIONS: The winter team rosters have been revised based upon a trade involving four players. See the changes on the Members Only Page.

*SURVEY RESULTS- The results of a survey taken the first two weeks of the winter season were presented to the Board Friday, Jan. 13.  Of the 54 members voting, 31 were against playing a third doubleheader on Tuesdays and Thursday with 23 in favor.  The other three questions on being a sub, playing in a second set of games and canceling league play when several tournaments reduce the players available for a league date were all favored by a majority of survey participants.  The Board agreed to consider canceling games and playing only pick-up games when a large number of players will be missing due to tournament conflicts. We thank all of you that participated in the survey.

*Sam Giordano, Gary Hillabolt and Duane Kramer have been appointed by Board President Denny Davidson as the nominating/election committee for two board seats up for election this March. The two seats are currently held by Mike Core and Ed Sowney, both of whom have expressed an interest in running for re-election for the three-year terms.  Any one else interested should contact the nominating committee.
